The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Discussed

From September 29 to October 4, 2025, Kazakhstan is hosting Artificial Intelligence Week. This important event is organized as part of the implementation of the priorities outlined in President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Address to the Nation, “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Issues and Their Solutions through Fundamental Digital Transformation.”
The Address emphasized the need to develop artificial intelligence and expand its application across various fields, including healthcare. In this regard, a seminar on the topic “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Healthcare Challenges” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
At the seminar, Zhanteli Khasen Askaruly, Director of the KazMBS School of Information Technologies, delivered a presentation on the opportunities for applying artificial intelligence technologies in medicine. He spoke in detail about the role of AI in healthcare, its effective use in diagnostics, treatment, and patient monitoring, as well as its importance in improving the quality of medical services.
