DIGITAL MATURITY: BASIC APPROACHES AND BLOCKS

On October 30, 2025, at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA), a comprehensive meeting was held under the theme “Digital maturity: basic approaches and blocks.” The meeting continued the Academy’s ongoing efforts to develop digital transformation and implement modern technologies.

During the meeting, the Academy’s Digital Officer, Aibek Senbekovich Nurpeisov, presented a report to the heads of structural departments and leading specialists on the level of integration of digital technologies in education, science, and administrative processes. He also summarised the AI-SANA program’s results for the third quarter of 2025.

Aibek Senbekovich emphasised the importance of a consistent and phased approach to implementing digital initiatives, highlighting their strategic role in the Academy’s long-term development. He also drew special attention to the growing role of artificial intelligence in the medical field, discussing the effectiveness and prospects of integrating AI technologies into educational processes and clinical practice.

Department heads and specialists actively participated in the discussion, sharing their opinions and proposals. The exchange of ideas helped identify new priorities for the Academy’s digital transformation and outline the next steps for further development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants underscored the vital role of digital maturity in enhancing the Academy’s growth and improving the quality of medical education.
